HALLOWEEN COSTUME HAUL
Pumpkin patches are in full drive, zombies and ghosts are making their appearances in yards in your neighborhood and mine, and the craft stores are stocked full with sequins, tulle and other fun crafting materials ready to help you with any of your costuming needs. We are a few weeks away from Halloween and it's time to start thinking of what to be this year! I have a track record of waiting until the last minute to decide what to be, and usually find myself scrambling to bro

DIY : CHEERFUL AUTUMN
Who says autumn decorations have to be dark, drab and boring?! Definitely not me! I, for one, am not traditionally someone who gets into seasonal decorations. This is partially due to my tendency to forget to put things away after their respective seasons are over (leaving me eating breakfasts in March on Halloween-themed place mats), and partially due to my aversion to traditional holiday color palettes. However, on my most recent shopping excursion to good old Target, I was

InstaCrush: @ChristinaWinkelmann
As a new blogger, I've been spending a lot of time on different social media outlets to keep up with what is trending in the worlds of fun and fashion, and am finding myself practically drooling over some of the amazingly curated accounts that fill my feeds with creativity, inspiration, color and fun! Being a very visually stimulated person, Instagram has quickly become my favorite social media mode to browse and I've decided to start a weekly series called InstaCrush that wi

DIY : GLITTER KEY NECKLACE
Flea markets are the perfect place to find interesting knick knacks, bits and baubles! I love the treasure hunt that ensues when you hit the aisles of booths filled with oddities, novelties and antiques. A couple weeks ago over Labor Day weekend I hit up the Cedarburg Flea Market and left with a couple items I was excited to bring new life to. One of my purchases was a bundle of old keys. I had been looking for some old keys for a while and had found a bunch in the past, but

PRETTY IN PASTEL
The pastel beauty trend has been here for a while and I have a feeling it's still got some more staying power left in it. I, myself, who has been pretty devoted to being a blonde for the past decade, am even finding myself tempted to shake things up and add a little tint of color. Every time I see a new celeb giving muted hues a go, I feel a little nudge to take the plunge. What I like about this trend is that it doesn't seem as intimidating as some other, bolder styles. It a

SATURDAY SAYINGS
I love a good quote. Some inspirational, some funny, some heartfelt. Here are some that I am enjoying this fabulous saturday morning. #FUN #QUOTEABLES #WORDSOFWISDOM #QUOTES #ETC

SOURCED
I can never leave Paper Source empty handed. Even if I am only going in with the sole intent of browsing there is always something I just have to have. Even if my bank account was negative I could find something in the store to purchase. Something colorful, charming, well designed, quirky or playful will always catch my eye. They have a great selection of beautiful papers. I love buying a couple sheets of these papers around the holidays or for bridal and baby showers and in

NICE TO GREET YOU
Just Wink Greeting Cards are so freaking fun! Whenever I see them, I always stop to look to see what fun designs they've got to chose from. They have such a variety of design styles, some more touching and some very playful with sassy sayings on them. I also love the mix of textures they use. From glitter, to kraft paper, to metallic printing, there is quite a selection. I'm usually drawn to the ones that incorporate neon colors and kraft paper. Here are the cards I got on my
