FRIDAY FAVES

Yay! It's friday! We made it through another week!

Just wanted to share a couple of the things I'm loving lately.

[ HAIR ]

Those that see me on a daily basis know that my hair has gotten ridiculously long and in much need of a reboot. Not quite sure if I'm ready to take the plunge to something this short but am seriously tempted to rock the blunt bob. Pretty sure I wouldn't pull it off as well as Lauren Conrad or Lucy Hale though. Although since it is a leap year this year, maybe it's time to take a leap and go for it!

[ FONT ]

Been seeing this font popping up in designs a lot lately and am loving it! It's quite pretty and charming. Love the bold yet relaxed feel of it.

[ SKIN ]

I've officially learned the true influence of a free sample. Received a free sample of this lotion the other week when shopping at & Other Stories. Normally I am someone who either tosses free samples or forgets about them but for some reason this one lured me in enough to try it once I got it home and sure enough it worked. I loved the scent and hopped right on the Internet and ordered the lotion and hand cream. And that's not all, & Other Stories lets you choose one free sample for every purchase so of course I added another scent to test into my shopping cart. And sure enough I loved that one too and will surely be ordering more once I run out of the stuff I have.

[ SHADES ]

Bought these sunnies while shopping at Free People on my day in NYC. Not only are these making my faves list because they are so cute, they are really nice and sturdy glasses. I have a pet peeve when it comes to sunglasses when they get super loose after only a couple wears and these bad boys are holding up like true champs.

[ YUM ]

I'm trying to be better about remembering to eat breakfast (I'm sure my mom is smiling as she reads this) so I've been bringing some granola, Greek yogurt and bananas to work with me lately. I've been loving taking a little vanilla almond flavored granola and sprinkling a little peanut butter granola. I would say a 2 to 1 ratio so the peanut butter flavor is a little more subdued. Then I mix in the Greek yogurt and top it off with some banana slices. Yum-o!

If you are a little more domestic then I am you could try making this homemade granola recipe from twopeasandtheirpod.com. Looks delish!
